Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic autoimmune disorder. It is a type of arthritis that causes the immune system to attack the lining of the joints eventually causing deformity. Rheumatoid arthritis causes inflammation, stiffness, and loss of function in the joints. The most common joints that are affected by rheumatoid arthritis are the wrists and fingers.
