How to Make Novacaine Wear Off Faster

Novacaine is used as an anesthetic in minor surgeries. It is quick-acting, requiring only 3-5 minutes following an injection for complete analgesia to set in. When used alone, the effect wears off immediately, within 12-15 minutes. In most cases, Novocaine is mixed with epinephrine, and the efficacy lasts for 30 to 45 minutes. Since an individual taking this becomes numb, he/she must make sure not to bite the lips or tongue.
