Evening primrose, also known as sun drop or fever plant, is a native to North America. It has been used in treating many things such as heart and circulatory disease, breast disorders, premenstrual syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Sjogren's syndrome, asthma, diabetic neuropathy, zinc deficiency, high cholesterol, cancer, and psoriasis. Midwives have used the oil of evening primrose to induce labor.
