Erectile Dysfunction and Diabetes

Erectile dysfunction tends to occur about 10 to 15 years earlier in men with diabetes than men without this condition. As diabetic men age, erectile dysfunction becomes even more common. Men with diabetes over the age of 50 are approximately 50-60% more likely to have difficulties with an erection than men who do not. Diabetic men over the age of 70 have about a 95% likelihood of having some difficulty with erectile function.
