Dengue Fever Pictures

Dengue Fever is a disease caused by any one of four closely related viruses (DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3, or DEN-4). Humans become infected with these viruses by being bitten by an infected Aedes Aegypti mosquito. There are two subspecies of Aedes aegypti, a wild form in Africa that is not a significant vector of dengue, and a primarily urban mosquito that transmits dengue to humans in many parts of the tropics. It is estimated that there are over 100 million cases of dengue worldwide each year. }}
