Adderall Dosage

Your age, other medical conditions you may have, and other medications you may be taking will all play a role in the dosage of Adderall that your physician may recommend. In treating children aged three to five for ADHD, a typically starting dose of Adderall is about 2.5 mg daily. Children over the age of six may be prescribed 5 mg of Adderall daily for ADHD with a dosage increase each week until the desired level is achieved. More than 40 mg of Adderall daily is not recommended for children with ADHD.
