ADHD and Social Skills

For some with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning social skills may be a bit of a challenge. A lack of social skills may account for a number of the problems that children with ADHD have. Social skills such as being a good listener and sharing with others are more difficult for ADHD children. By not learning social skills as children, ADHD adults may find it more difficult to develop and maintain relationships.
